Today I just want to say thank you for Catherine

Catherine is my little sister and today is her birthday. But seeing as she's turning 17, I guess I can't really say she's that little anymore. Wow...I feel old.

Kitty, having you as my sister has blessed me in so many ways. Ya, we've had our bad moments, but they last a total of 5 seconds and then we just end up laughing like crazy. I'm so glad I can call you my best friend--that's special, ya know? Even though you're 3 years younger, I look up to you so much. You're strong yet graceful. You chase hard after what you want and you're not afraid to ask for what you need (prime example: asking for a spoon for me at Katie's ice cream when you weren't tall enough to see over the counter but I was too shy to go myself). You're smart, flat out hilarious (seriously no one makes me laugh like you do), beautiful inside and out (even when you have your hair cut like a boy) and can quote movies like it's nobody's business. I'm sorry I can't be home to spend today with you, but I trust that you'll celebrate it well. You are one of God's most precious gifts to me and I love you with all my heart! Always & forever, no matter what!
