Hi, I'm Caroline

"If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then--I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name."
-Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's

I'm Caroline, an early twenty-something with one year left of college and a lot of big things left to figure out.

Some things I do know:  God is so good and has given us this thing called grace--and it changes everything.  I believe in tea time, summer, shopping, picnics and exercise.  Champagne, strawberries, chocolate and bendy straws are very good, too.  I love words, coffee table books, vases of fresh flowers (peonies, to be exact), Chi Omega, swing dancing and rocking chairs.  I obsess over my dog, cheetah print, sparkles, anything nautical and all things having to do with Charlottesville/the University of Virginia. To me, chewing with your mouth closed, sitting with your legs crossed and letting gentlemen open doors for you will always be in style.  Though the world may say differently, love letters, slow dancing on porches and traditional romance will forever be fashionable as well.   I’m an avid blog-stalker, Tweeter, Pinterest-er and Tumblr-er.  One day, I will be educated in art, literature, culture, food and wine.  I fully support taking way too many pictures and journaling every last detail.  In a nutshell:  I’m just trying to live a fabulous, glamorous and inspired life that is marked by wisdom and grace.

Here, we'll cover the entire spectrum:  from the trivial aspects of life to the deeper thoughts that sometimes set up camp in my head.  I started this blog in my senior year of high school, and as such, it has evolved a lot.  Obviously, that evolution hasn't stopped (although I have gotten a bit lazy with posting).  & give the cat a name is about the time in between--the sweetness of evolving.  it's about the searching, the trial and error, the time of your life when you haven't quite found your real-life Tiffany's.  So, until I get there, thanks for coming along for the ride.

xx,
Caroline
