Happy Groundhog Day...

I've found that the moments during which I am most inclined to write are the moments in which I should be doing something else...aka something school related. Like studying for my biology test that's on Friday or working on my philosophy paper due Thursday. OOPS! Over my years of schooling I have found that I am a type-A personality except for the fact that I procrastinate to the extreme. I vowed that I would stop that when I got to college. WELL, here I am in college...and guess what? I still procrastinate! However, blogging has not been my choice procrastination tool of late, which explains why October was a blog-less month.

Another reason that I haven't been writing is because I'm so...drained...these days. Things are just dull right now...I'm lacking inspiration. My life is a constant cycle of reading, doing homework, going to class, eating, sleeping, and occasionally working out. Everything is so routine. It's pretty boring, really. And I'm getting quite sick of it. Over the past couple days I have come to the realization that my life is perfectly summed up in the song "Something Beautiful" by Needtobreathe. I'm waiting for something beautiful to touch my life. I'm longing for something that just makes me unravel...something that breaks me and makes the pattern I'm currently stuck in disintegrate. Maybe I'm being a drama queen...I don't know. I just feel like my life is on repeat. Like the movie Groundhog Day. I wonder if I'm alone in all of this?? This weekend I am planning on doing some refreshing. Next week will be an easy school week, so I will blog then. Because I miss it and I miss designating time to share my thoughts and experiences.

So basically, I'm still alive...just not thriving. I'll update further next week. I just felt the need to post something, seeing as my last post was September 26. I'll be back soon with something good, I promise :)

P.S. I posted a link to Kate McRae's website a few months ago. She is still in the midst of her battle with cancer. Please continue to pray with her family and friends. She has an MRI on Friday and its results are extremely important. This is the latest update from her mom. PRAY.PRAY.PRAY.
