Wednesday Ramblings

My heart as of Wednesday, April 11:

-Okay.  One of my TV obsessions is Dance Moms.  It's super dramatic and definitely considered trashy television, but the dancing is fantastic.  Maddie is my favorite--she is absolutely phenomenal.  And I could watch this dance over and over...
Her turns are incredible.  She is way too good to be nine.

-You know you're getting old when the first thing you do upon seeing an attractive man (outside of a fraternity house, obviously) is check his hand for a wedding ring.

-My mommy is coming to Charlottesville for the night tonight so we can go to dinner and have a sleepover...I am so excited!  I just saw her this weekend when I was home for Easter, but I can always use more time with her.

-Being home was so, so good.  There is truly nothing like sitting out on our back porch for quiet times and sleeping in my bed at home.  And we got to dye eggs and have Easter meals with both sides of the family.  As crazy as all families are, I have really learned over the past few years how important it is not to take them or time spent with them for granted.

-Yesterday was National Siblings Day, apparently.  So, in honor of my dearest Kitty:
I adore old pictures.  And my sister.
Also, I really miss wearing one pieces.

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  Why do I feel like weeks always fly by so fast?  Goodness.
xoxo,
Caroline

  1. Ok, so I'm really late since this was posted last Wednesday, but unfortunately it's just how I roll sometimes.

I love your idea for a Wednesday ramble, and I hope some of your gurls will pick up on that idea. I love hearing your hearts. It's almost like having you home, except there's no hummus and fresh veggies involved.

And speaking of hummus (and aren't we always), I've come up with my own recipe that is DA BOMB. Be sure to come by for some next time you're in the 'noke.

OMG that little dancer is NINE YEARS OLD?? Holy cow, that's amazing.
