Wednesday Ramblings

My heart as of Wednesday, March 28:

-I don't know when it has become necessary for a lady to throw herself upon a man in order to express her interest.  I have tried to remain hopeful that there are still gentlemen out there who take the role of pursue-er seriously, but I'm starting to lose faith.  Oh, to be twenty and single (and picky).

-I'm in love with this quote by Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice).

*Sigh* where are the men who are masters of the english language and want to tell me this?

-If a man isn't going to make up his own words or quote Mr. Darcy, he has my full permission to Tweet about me using Mat Kearny quotes from this song or this song.  Or any oldies song (stay tuned for a list in which I describe what I mean.  Because "oldies" is a vague term and I can't say "Beach Music" or else everyone asks, "you mean like the Beach Boys?"  No, I do not mean like the Beach Boys.  No.  I'll just post some examples in the near future).

-Yesterday was another glorious day here in CVille..  After class, I went to lunch with my Chi O family.  We sat outside in the sun and ate our amazing Take It Away sandwiches.  The, I went into this random bookstore we have and bought three books just for fun.  I can't wait to read them, although it will probably be summer by the time I get around to it.  Then I took this picture (with my phone...excuse the quality) of Elliewood, one of my favorite streets in the UVA area:

It's just so precious and it's super cute at night, too.  I've said it before and I'll say it again:  Charlottesville's beauty in the spring=unrivaled.  The end.

I hope everyone's week is going well!
PB&J,
Caroline
