Bible Gateway's verse of today is Romans 14:11:
“It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.”
My dad and I talked about the phrase "every knee will bow" a few days ago. He was telling me how he imagines the return of Jesus Christ as something similar to that scene in the Lion King...you know, that part where Simba is raised up and those hundreds upon hundreds of animals bow down to honor him. First of all, that makes me really excited-it is so EPIC. But secondly, it makes me think- it really will be quite similar to that. I had never thought about this before...but every living creature with a knee will bow down, creating that Lion King-esque effect. SO COOL. I am getting so pumped for the glorious return of our King! Who's with me?!
